Hi, this is going to sound like the daftest question in the world, but here goes.

I decided to take of my alloys to give them a well needed clean, i managed to do the first one (front right, -drivers side-) then i wanted to do the front possanger side wheel and i couldent find which way to turn the rench to unlock the wheel,

I ended up actualy bending the tool lol

So anyone that could let me know which way i have to turn the rench to unlock the wheel bolts, would be most aprechiated

Many Thanks

and soft for the daft question again

Always to the left. Left is ALWAYS untighten.

it may help to put a length of pole over the end of the spanner to help with leverage.

not always left(wel on 106's it is but....), go to a local tyre dealer and get them to loosen them off for u. or yh get a decent wheel brace and a scaffolding pole, attach the polr to the brace and.... jobs a guddun

as said before just get a socket with a decent tool attached and the job's a goodun. The one that comes with the car is crap and almost unuseable.

Ive never heard of right turn locking nuts.

Is it nothing to do with centrifugal force as to why they tighten left??

yep, anticlockwise.

The standard braces arent that good, if you have a socket set you'll need a 19mm sock i think, and just get a longer thicker wrench. A torque wrench is a good investment, stops you overtightning and undertightening bolts
