Return of the bastard engined quiksilver

Hello all!!

As many of you know "I scrapped my quiksilver" alas that is not the case at all!! Be resprayed a totally new colour and is going to be back pretty soon aswell! Pics to follow in the next week or so, this is going to be my project thread.

Spec of the Engine is

S1 rallye head
Quiksilver bottom end with 1.3 rallye pistons
Miltek 4-2-1
OMP full group N exhaust system
XSi Inlet TB, loom and ECU

Suspension and Brakes

H&R 30mm springs
Bilstein Shocks and Dampers
106 Rallye rear beam
106 gti front struts
Hispec ultralite 4 pots

Interior

New Sparco Sprint Bucket Seats in Side mount fitment
OMP 4 point harnesses
nothing else!

Stuff to do once re-MOTd

Fit GSXR 1000 bike TBs and wire in megasquirt
Fit 8v newman cam and catcam vernier

Power wise around 110bhp ish+, old spec before the bottom end bearings went made 109bhp, so here is to a good 2007!!

Well I had the very fooked up shell taken away to be destroyed of, got a call 2 days later from the gypo saying because I got his son out of trouble he would get the shell fixed. So in essence I get £1ks worth of bodywork doing ( engine bay rust and rear quarter dent ) new doors , new tailgate.

Before you ask basically his son is the actions now questions latter person I simply bundled him into my car and took him home before he could get in trouble. All parts came off a gti so all OE pug parts to!!

its def good to keep a few gypos in ya phone book, car sounds like its gonna be nice!

Some Gypos are ok, but still keep them at arms length. Basically the GTi shell I bought got butchered for the parts needed to fix the quiky and the gypo arranged for all the work to be done. So all in not to bad, yes it is very confusing but when someone offers to help you out regardless of who it is then you dont say no lol

so i hear but untill i see his feeling the dif meens nothing matey

ive had my manifold sorted so it dont blow like **** now and car feels quicker but i doubt its made much diff


no human is gonna feel a 4bhp increase but spend 9am-9pm fitting something and your head will make sure ya do ;)
