rite my car seams to b running on 3 cyls

if i let it idle, its very lumpy, bn told when i bought it it had an upgraded cam,

but if i take the lead of the plug into the 1st cyl, it still runs the same,if i put it bk on, but do the same to any other cyl, it cuts out

ive done ICV,the wee bit down the bk o it, like a resistor or summit ??, plugs leads, coil pack,

im going to check the injectors, an the leccys to the injectors, an get a compression test done on it, in 2wks wen a get home,

wat else could be causing this before i take the head of, an have a rite good look ?

If the 1st cylinder isnt firing at all - does it actually spark?

Take the plug out - put it in the end of the ht lead and rest it on the cam cover and get a mate to turn it over a few times

If thats sparking but its still not running on that cylinder I guess injector could be the only thing - maybe the wirings knackered to it?

aye man av done tht wi the spark, well i put in on the exhaust, it was sparkin, little bit orange but still a gd spark, so the injector an wiring is what a was gunna do

swap the first two injectors, the nsee if it was a prob on cyl 2, if not the injector is gd, so swap wiring onto cyl2 an if its still a prob on cyl 1 then head off

but was hoping there could be summit else afore a need ti take it off ?

what could b the porblim within tho ? sticky valve ?

Hmmm cam changing screams out cam timing to me. 1 tooth out when the belt went back on maybe?
