Ok, it has probably been asked before but are lower strut braces strong if they get hit. I want to fit one on the dimma one but it sits quite low, and i didn`t want it to do any damage it it hits a speed bump, i know they are pretty strong in the length but when the front gets hit will it bend. I will be fitting a top one but not sure on a lower one.

I may buy one then to try, and measure the height to the floor as some of the speed bumps round here are the small round ones that take the sump off.

now tht a think bout it it shudny bent or dent
cos if its on as a support, of it bends, bottom one attached to the wishbones, then if the brace is gunna bend, its bringin the car in at the struts, unless it jsut stretches

Worryingly I read somewhere a guy hit one and it actually bent the chassis where the wishbones bolt on
So I'd be a bit careful if your car is really that low!

as said above, yeah if u hit summit with enough force, are the braces wont snap, sure its gunna bring the chassis in, an u dont want tht
my brace is bent, mis shapen scraped to **** full of dints and barely any paint left on it. it does the job tho!

I used to have one on mine but it hit everything
Came off a railway crossing one day and it sounded like I'd driven into a wall - looked under neath and it was absolutely destroyed
Too much hassle :(
