View Full Version : Exeter meet - September

Starting this thread to get some ideas for this meet. I'd been asked to sort something out for an evening for the people that work weekends and as we haven't had a Devon meet yet this seemed the best place for everyone to go get to

The proposed date is Tuesday 18th September at around 6pm. We can all meet up somewhere (Exeter services maybe?) then go and get something to eat and go for a little drive.

Any suggestions welcome :)

Who's going?

Depending on how legally you drive Bristol-Exeter should take approx 1 hour 30 mins.

I was well up for coming to this meet as it's going to be the closest one to me.....but the 18th is the only midweek date in the whole of September where i already have plans...which is sods laws. If the date changes i will probabyl be there though!

Bristol to Exeter is about 1hr 15 I would have thought.

Doesn't seem to be much uptake for this, it seems the area is split into east and west, with very few people in the middle. Would it be preferred to move this meet to either west or east (i.e. Cornwall/Devon or Somerset/Wiltshire)

I also put down a mid week date as someone had asked about it (sorry I can't remember who) - would more people be up for this on a weekend?

Sorry about this, totally forgot about this one :( I won't be able to make it along now, I'm totally skint, not even halfway through the month :(

If you want to organise it between yourselves and meet up still that's fine :)

I will sort something out for October, probably on a weekend if that's better
