Picked up my very first car this morning. A 106 Quiksilver. Heres some pics after a very rushed wash before work. Shes got a few tiny dings here or there but other than that shes perfect.

bit of a poo update but im bored so I thought I put it up. Gave her a clean and polish this morning, Quite pleased with the resluts.:D

Auto Glym, I got a free cleaning kit with PGti subscription. Need to buy some megs clay next time im in Halfrauds.

Oh right sorry mate, not big on cleaning names etc haha. Is megs clay any good? Heard a few people say they use it.

Small update, got the standard gear knob back on and bought some black gti rims in mint condition with next to new tyres (sorry dargs)lol. Who wants to guess how much I paid for them? (James your not allowed you already know!)

Not quite that cheap! haha 120 with next to new tyres on the front and brand new on the back. Well pleased. :D

And forgot to add also that mirrors are off and prepped and ready for spraying.

Bought some brand new and unfitted 35mm gmax springs for £40 off my cousin today. Just need to find somewhere to do my torsion bar and I will have her sitting sweet! :p

Induction Kit

Bought a raceland induction kit in the group buy, fitted it today, really happy with it.

It doesnt go straight on to the 8v. You need the extension at the top to get it to fit onto the throttle body. I just used some samco hosing.

The hardest part was taking the crappy airbox off!

Really pleased with how its sitting now, just needs to settle a tuny bit more I think. :)

Booking it for the torsion bar to be dont in about 10 days, when I get paid.

Finally doing something about the shocking brakes on the Quiky.

still my favourite quiksilver by far, nice clean simple mods. Best thing is the simple stuff makes it nice and fast, I will have to find a way or getting a S1 inlet to work properly then let you try it ;)
