was marshalling local rally this sunday.

Well this sunday brought upon the "Little Devils Rally" which travels some of the best roads between morcambe and the lakes if u know where this is. the even was put on curtosy(SP?) of Kendal and Morecambe carclubs anyways i decided that while i was out marshalling and cos my dad was chief marshall abusing some of my powers by pretending to be course car heh. anyways as my bro had his phone camera on him i decided to go out on a whim to get my car as diry as possible :P heres some piccys!!

im shure it is actually far dirtier than that as i look at it now out of my window. anyhow im off to do some serious cleaning now and ill put up some pictures. this is the first time ive realy shown my car since my colourcoding and the GTI spoiler went on so apart from telling me the back bumper is the wrong colour(which it is but isnt) any other constructive criticism welcome please :D

erm yeh was gona do white alloys but... theres a guy in my area who has a white 1.1 with compomotives on so he beat me to it thinking oyster gold now or just sanded down and polished as when i got them off vicky (Sexy_GT) there was some serious kerbing on them and ive dun my fair share of adding to that lol!!

was stage we did have 6 farmyards and other bits to use but on the morning three farms pulled out due to fut and mouth scare so we had to run the other 3 yards one way then change the route a little.. was a bit too much like an auto test for me the way we had to run it but was a nice day out. we got some pictures but only on my bros fone ill stick them up l8a if he aint deleted them :D

aye dad has been for years he used to rally a Talbot sunbeam.. ive just robbed his old bucket seats now lol and covering them. but yeh member of morecambe car club. gud for contacts gona start putting my own rally car togeather soon when we moove house1.
i think we had 55 cars

I navigate for my dad on road rallies and doing the Lombard in November, but in general road rallying seems to be dying a death everywhere at the moment.

If you get the chance later on this year, come out and watch the Preston Road Rally run by Chelmsford motor club, always a good laugh on a saturday night. :)

yeh i normally go anyways.. well say normally did last year.. wot dates and u got any good spectator points? last year we were stuck for spectator points cos we didnt know where the rally was gonig.

well we have a 20 car road rally every secon wednesday i think but in the winter only (bit safer that way) my dad wants to navigate for me.. says im more agresive than he ever was and he won a few class 1'sts :D car yr dad got?

Stennetts Farm's quite good on OS map 133. If you've not been to the start/scruitineering then it's definatley worth a look. Get a good idea of the route and also get a look at the cars before they come back unrecogniseable with half the bodywork missing.

aye i think i saw ur post when u got it... im intending on running a 1.4 Xr i think realy somthing lightweight but i wanna use it normally and their cheap inshurance.. even after ive caged it i cant afford to inshure much else bigger than that. and it should help me get into most classes.

however last saturday the newer ur car was the less likely you would be alowed to enter it.. aiming towards the classic cars realy so my second thoughts were a series 1 but i want to drive it around and use it at meets and such so i think ill stick with an S2
